Pretty alcoholic whiskey. Alcohol and butterscotch on the nose is prominent. An alcoholic burn on the tongue with very little flavor other than some very brief oak. Evan Williams Bottled In Bond is the way to go over this whiskey. This bonded whiskey is drinkable but not too pleasant. Probably better in a mixed drink.
An abundance of sweet and spicy on the nose with large amount of cherry and Oak as you pull away. The first taste is robust upfront, but immediately goes smooth as it passes your taste buds. Vanilla start you off, then the Finish is almost minty before you get a brief hint of pepper and then it dissipates. A good bonded showing from the Jim Beam distillery.
A more well-rounded, fuller, more mature expression of Jim Beam. Warm spice, apple, with some woody notes at the end. One of the better bottled-in-bond expressions I have tasted.
