Reviewed December 26, 2020 (edited August 31, 2021)For a person accustomed to the rank harshness of Bacardi rums (and who assumed she didn't like rum based solely on this experience. I am still learning and have recently found rums that are actually delicious) this is nearly a sipping quality rum. Very little harsh alcohol burn on its own. Sweet, but not cloying. Best from the freezer. Vanilla, caramel notes dominate, with a light smokiness. Mixes well (I am currently enjoying it in a rum flip); an excellent rum for the price.13.99 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 27, 2020 (edited December 16, 2022)A lot of alcohol flavor. It's lightly flavored otherwise, like someone put vodka through some wood with butterscotch and spices for a short duration. It tastes way too young and doesn't have a ton of complexity. Definitely not a sipper, but it could be a mixer. There are some definite tropical fruits as well. It isn't enjoyable to sip.17.0 USD per Bottle
