Kentucky Owl Takumi Edition Bourbon

Veryvsmooth, toffee backbone. No cherry

Sweet and butterscotch jumped out at me, with a nice long finish that dances on the tongue and evoked spicy maple notes. Very nice, definitely recommend.

Very smooth mouthfeel with a bit of spice on the back end. Really nice dram but if I were looking at Kentucky Owl Confiscated vs Takumi, for the relatively same price point I do prefer the oakiness of Confiscated more than this offering. Really nice bourbon and a really nice looking label/bottle and for 50% ABV it goes down very easily...perhaps too easily?

Spicy, medicinal, bandages...just not at all for me. I keep going back and trying to come to grips with it, particularly due to the cost. Definitely not worth it -- unpleasant. Multiple friends have tried it and came to the same conclusion.
