Blind tasting Nose: peaty but sweet, lagavulin or ardbeg Taste: light peat, hint of pineapple, slightly thin. Hint of rubber. Cask type: bourbon Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 Notes: Favorite so far in the advent calendar but don’t need a bottle Lagavulin rum? Would be a stretch

Nose: smoke, dried fruits, raisins, dust, nuts, warming spices Palate: complex, well rounded, fruits, nuts, getting spicy towards finish Finish: smoky, sweet, sticky, long

Good but nothing unique. I expected more.

Sherry cask, mild

Smooth with a warm start and aromatic finish.
