Blind tasting Nose: light smoke, oak. Lagavulin Taste: sweet and smoke, nice balance. But if a medicinal finish. Wouldn’t turn down a bottle but would be more of a fallback option. Wood: European oak Distillery?

Grilled melon, leather, walnuts, slight herbal/medicinal nose; hay, brackish bog water, and mint. Finish of cherries and nutmeg dusted nectarines

Nose: peat, smoke, earth, leather, meat, dark fruit Taste: concentrated flavor, smoke, earth, salinity, tobacco and sweetness. Very oily Finish: long, rich and spicy and Smokey finish Wow, what a dram. Very good, the best I have tasted from Kilchoman. I love the sherries Islays, and this does not disappoint.
