Nose: oily old oak off the bat. Fatty, oxidized vanilla deeper into it with some notes of honey, sherry, rum, and a bit of apricot. Slight rye spice buried in there.
Pallet: that the spice surprisingly shows on the front of the pallet - kind of bright for a 15yr. Then nose dives straight off the cliff, down into a fatty almond vanilla oak sherry mid. Average finish - a sweet oak hangs for a bit with tinges of all the favors before.
