Knob Creek 18 Year Bourbon (2023 Release)

Awesome juice. Nose comes in with raisins, vanilla. Palate is fantastic. Creamy, more vanilla, where the finish comes with baking spices, notes of banana bread.

I get a pepper flavor with this one and a solid burn going down

Nose was pleasant and deceptivey sweet. The palate was thin and almost acrid. Sour with needly oak, pepper, fleeting finish.

Just ok on the nose and maybe a little ethanol, but this was a fresh crack. Was expecting more from this. Not very complex but decent flavor for 100 proof. Will revisit later and hope it opens up.
