Knob Creek 9 Year Small Batch Bourbon

Smoky barnyard nose with a hint of peanuts and honey bbq. Palate follows through with brown sugar, caramel, oak, leather, and a smooth woodsy spicy finish. Beat out Buffalo Trace and Weller Special Reserve in a blind test and it wasn’t close. If you can’t find a bottle of the Buff, buy this and come out ahead.

Neat: Fruity, vanilla, spicy. Good. I've been avoiding Knob Creek since my first experience wasn't good, but i like this one. Better try some more..,

Spicy licorice

nose: sweet cherry, oak, apple. very pleasant body: fine finish. 100 proof. dark cherry for sure. quite pleasant. nutty

For a 9 year i expect a smoother complex taste. The finish has a weird oaky char after taste.
