Knob Creek 9 Year Small Batch Bourbon

Nice darker color with a cool sweet smell. Almost no taste on the front of the toung, hits the back of the mouth with a strong flavor. Goes down smooth, hits bottom very warm and stays that way for a bit. Neat as usual.

I think this is one of the most overlooked bourbons out there. To get this much taste and flavor, with a 9-year age statement is an incredible value. And yet, so many people walk right by it. I get peanut brittle on the nose with a little spice. The mouth feel is all baking spice, vanilla and oak. Really solid daily drinker.

Front bite, mellows out at the back end

Bold and spicy, but not quite as hot as Knob Creek Small Batch. This is really good for the price if you want something with a bit of punch.

For the price, this is super delish just neat. Esp at 50%, this is super smooth and doesn’t even really call for a splash of water! I might upgrade to this more frequently from the Buffalo trace as a go to
