Larceny Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Sweet to start with bananas and spice, little heat to finish. Not too spicy. Pretty decent bourbon especially for the price. I prefer this one with a small cube of ice over neat. Considering this is the same price and Daniels and Beam, but worlds better, why anyone would buy those over this is beyond me. A great every day "bottom shelf" bourbon that can hang with bigger bottles.

I enjoy this much more than Makers Mark (which I find to have a bitter, sharp finish). Another reviewer described it as "maple syrup and pancakes" and that describes the mid-palate sweetness pretty well. It is also versatile, being nice neat, with water, on ice, or mixed. Not the longest finish, but enjoyable nonetheless. If you enjoy softer, sweeter bourbons, you will like this.
