Lot No. 40 Cask Strength Third Edition

Very good, tried against 1st and 2nd edition, this got last but still very tasty!

Very nice Rye. I get a lot of nutmeg. Excellent spice. A little water mellows it out well.

Probably the best Rye I've ever had. Just spectacular.

Sweet aroma with caramel and brown sugar dominant. Strong, rich flavor, with caramel, rye spice, clove, a bit of butter, and a lot of oak present. An unusual dram, but a very nice one. Best Canadian whiskey I’ve had so far. I’d certainly buy a full-size bottle. 3 cl sample from The Premium Whisky Advent Calendar (2020 Edition).

Nose: pear? Cherry. Taste: sweet, but damn thats a lot of alcohol. Some vanilla and cherry I think, spicy at the end. Not an easy dram, but its good.
