Madre Mezcal Espadin

A bold Agave Spirit crafted with 100% Espadin Agave by Madre Mezcal in Oaxaca, Mexico following traditional Zapotec recipes and methods before being botteled at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of baked agave, wood, earth, herbs & spices; while a full & complex life adds notes of ginger, pine, sandalwood & a hint of meaquite; that led to a long & warm death with only a hint of smoke.

Light wood smoke, agave, lime and salt on the nose. Green pepper, grass and wood on the palate. Light finish.

Nose of wood smoke, fresh agave, lime, pear and cream. Green and lightly peppery, with vanilla, leather, and charred and dry wood on the palate.
