Sweet compared to Maker’s classic

Oak, wheat, caramel?

Nose: vanilla, cream, caramel Palate: same as the nose plus some baking spices Finish: same as the nose Not super complex but consistent throughout. Very smooth with a nice spice kick to keep it interesting.

Not as sweet as standard Maker’s but with a lot more complexity. It’s got the vanilla and baking spices of Maker’s but with a lot more woody and oaky notes. It’s actually a nice compromise between my wife’s bourbon preference (Knob Creek) and my preferences (Maker’s and Woodford). Nothing overwhelming or out of proportion. Nice.
