Masterson's Straight Rye Whiskey 10 Year

Very sweet. Clean, crisp. Vanilla. Toffee

Pretty week knee'd. Sweet and simple. Think Canadian Club Rye type of thing.

Super light rye spice on the nose. Mostly alcohol though. Has that kinda soapy rye flavor for me, not a fan. Might be some sort of light herb.

Batch 015. Very disappointing for price. No sweetness, mild spice, what little flavor there is is overwhelmed by ethanol burn. I’ve read batches fluctuate drastically in taste and this batch is known to be one of their weakest, but I’d be very unlikely to give this another chance.
