One of the genuinely best values in any American whiskey. Simple, yes, but it does it's sweet corn well. It's not complex, but it by no means tastes cheap or artificial. It's just solid juice that goes well neat, holds up over ice, and imparts great flavors in cocktails. At under $20, it's insane how good it is.
Taste: It delivers big vanilla for a cheap whiskey. Some creamed corn and spice that remains pleasant. It has a slick mouthfeel. The finish is quite boozy.
Look: Pale yellow
Smell: Vanilla and creamed corn
From the good people who bring you Rittenhouse Rye, we have this gem. I've had this recommended to me MANY times and finally hunted up a bottle. It doesn't disappoint, and for the price, how do you say no?
