A unaged Mezcal with a very subtle amount of smokyness. Its there, but mildly. The spirit is light, delicate and I couldn’t feel the aromas experts might have. It has a feeling of a sugar cane distilled rather than an agave one. It’s very citric, leaning heavily towards lime and lemon. Some light honey as well. On the palate, you’ll get the light smoke, but still the honey and like are prevalent and a bit herbal, maybe with some mint with it. As unaged, crystal clear spirit, it’s well rounded, smooth, lightly smoky and pleasant. No bite, mild heat with a good finish.
Not extremely flavorful, but pleasant for a sip. Might be better for a cocktail. Cheers!
