The curious name refers to birds that find their way into a bar and leave tarnished by smoke and soot. Additionally, former prostitutes who could no longer work after their trade was made illegal were also referred to as 'soiled doves'.

"This American gin is introduced by a bright nose that shows intense juniper berry impact and high toned notes of coriander leaf and citrus oil. The palate is light and the botanical flavors leave a pleasant bitterness before fading to whisper-soft finish with hints of lingering juniper. This is an easy-going spirit that can be consumed well on it’s own but may lack the body to stand up to full-flavored cocktails such as the negroni."
