Aromas of sweet apples and pears. Some spice and vanilla. Flavors are right in line. Vanilla takes over. Especially mid finish. The burn is nice and the aftertaste is all oak.
A dance of toffee and maple aromas. On taste, the whisky itself is incredibly balanced: soft, sweet, and mellow – with a warm glow that lingers. Vanilla, cinnamon, and fruity overall. The perfect dessert dram.
Coffee, chocolate, and pecans on the nose. The flavor is full of dark chocolate and coffee with hits of vanilla nut. Not the sweetness you would expect out of a Japanese whiskey. Easy, flavorful, neat sipping whiskey.
Definitely a dessert whiskey. Tastes like a banana crem brulee with a nice strong finish. I wouldn't want to sip on this all the time, as the flavor is a bit much after the first drink and it would be cost prohibitive at $75+ for a bottle, but it is very good in small amounts. A nice celebratory whiskey.
