Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky

Color: Medium amber color Nose: Caramel and banana Palate: Strong Vanilla Finish: Smooth long lasting finish

Super light on the nose. Almost smells like sake to me. Very sweet. Sweet grain and fruit. This reminds me so much of sake from the Wakayama region. Light, but with enough richness to keep the burn away. Really good and unique, if maybe not my style.

Smells of vanilla icing. A spiciness lingers in the mouth till the finish. Finishes like dark chocolate. Delicious.

Honey color with nose of caramel, toasted pecans. Did not pick up any smokiness. A few drops of water rounded out the smoothness. Lingering taste of mild honey. Very good sipping whiskey.
