Nikka Whisky From the Barrel

Smooth and easy to drink. I think I like this one better than Hibiki Harmony.

Nose is sweet and rye spices. Starts with rye and and spice, backbone is peaty. Finishes with umami, saltiness and sweetness... will agree that the tasting notes shift over the course of a dram, with water too.

Initially high proof hit, but the flavour is great. Honey, orange, and caramel.
