Nose: Malted barley dominates, some vanilla, maybe a hint of apple?
Palate: Caramel popcorn up front, then pear and a bit of grain
Finish: More grains, a bit of wood may come through at end
All of these are ment in the best way, great go too
Very complex. A little water tempers the alcohol and brings out more rich sugars and berry notes. The herbaceous finish is still there, though softer. Smoke seems to have disappeared entirely. Even more water brings it into Speyside malt territory, with lighter fruits such as apple and pear, and some honey and flowers. The herbal finish has been replaced with fruits and white wine
