Nikka Whisky From the Barrel

Nice and rich end, very balanced

Dark straw color, a bit darker than I was expecting. Medium- intensity on the nose, and very pleasant. Unique vs. scotch. Honey and butterscotch and lemon as it opens. Maybe very light baking spice. Palette is similar with some light fruit mixed in with obvious vanilla. I hate this descriptor but, for alcohol level very smooth. Medium- length as it does fade. Worth buying if under $100 but not enough going on at this price.
