Reviewed September 29, 2024 (edited October 5, 2024)Nose: oak, smoke, chocolate, cherry, char, smores Pallet: dark fruit, leather, oakey, tobacco, root beer Very pleasant. Combo of sweet and drying. Tastes like Woodford Double Oak on steroids. Nose might be a little better than the palet but has a great mouth feel - especially mid pallet. Price isnt bad given the proof and flavor.90.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed August 26, 2024Very dark color likely due to double oak and being non-chill filtered. Nose is sweet and oaky. Dry and spicy on front palate with double oak continuing to come through. Very little heat for 58.2 ABV and not a long finish. The sweetness upfront and on the nose got lost throughout. -

Reviewed May 3, 2024 (edited May 4, 2024)Get notes of chocolate, cherry, maple syrup and rye bread on the nose. Initial punch of chocolate and cherry on the front palate. Flavor evolves into more leathery, tobacco and pepper notes by mid-palate. Get a lot of heat on the finish that is both numbing and bitter. Very interesting tasting experience that combines some very sweet flavors with bitter elements and heat.84.99 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed September 13, 2023 (edited December 10, 2023)Nose starts off great with caramel vanilla and some sweet oak but the palate stsrts to get too oaky for me and the finish starts to go south. Im just not a fan of this bitter oaky finish. UPDATE: after this sitting it has greatly improved and I upgraded the score. The finish is still one dimensional but better flavor.80.0 USD per Bottle
