Octomore 09.3 Dialogos

Aroma of raw barley wrapped with smoked meats. Palate continues with added honeyed peat. Viscous. Long, warming charcoal finish.

Lovely and linear, with the usual petroleum nose. On the palate, there’s ash and a hint of salted kettlecorn, presumably from the bourbon cask influence. Not as complex as some Octomores, but it’s perfectly in tune.

Very smooth and delicious. Fragrant nosing of dried fruit. Flavors of lemons, sea spray, and a bit of rubber. Despite the alc, minimal burn and pleasantly smoke lingers.

Nose: Fruit leather, smoke, spice, caramel, malt, roasted nuts and oil. Palate: Plasticy smoke, BBQ sweetness, spice, caramel, roasted nuts and dried bananas. Finish: Long -> BBQ sweetness and smoke with some fruit.
