Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond 8 Year is the seventh release in the bottled in bond decanter series which first began with a spring 2018 release. Old Fitzgerald is a wheated bourbon produced by Heaven Hill and this bottled in bond version was distilled in one distillation season (spring 2013).
The bourbons were pulled from three different rickhouses on different floors and from two different production dates. Aged for 8 years before bottling in spring 2021, this release bears a green label as other spring releases have done.

Tasting Notes
"Sometimes bourbon doesn't need to taste like anything other than bourbon, and this is one of those times. Oakiness, a hint of orange peel and spices welcome the palate. Sweet toasted corn, brown sugar, vanilla, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon and oregano are the upfront flavors, with hints of fresh berries and a bit of leatheriness carrying it into the medium-hot finish. Big flavor, classic, a little sweet, a little charr-y. Hello, bourbon! "
