The nose opens up pretty quickly with very strong butterscotch as the dominant scent. High viscosity on the glass and on the tongue. Starts very warm with caramel like taste and texture but finishes hotter than it starts but still keeps a lasting flavor after everything has passed. Not the hottest 100proof out there but stands well on comparison to others. Definitely worth a pour.

Nose initially reminded me of bananas but on second try I recalled fresh markers and glue. The taste was pleasant on the first try but after smelling the fresh marker/glue smells it was hard to swallow on the second try. I should note these were two separate days. I really wanted to like this one but maybe I should have jumped in to the deep end with the 1920 instead.
