Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon

Damn good. Carmel, oak and vanilla on the nose. Taste like vanilla, oak, sugar and ends with pepper. A little bit of licorice on the back end.

More well rounded than the regular OGD. A decent flavor throughout the sip with a bit of heat on the end.

Thought this was very good for the cost.

Caramel, vanilla, oak are present all the way through. Mid way orange peel comes through, very nice. The finish has a strong leather / black liquorish taste that I'm not a fan of and leaves me disappointed.

I’m a fan of this. It’s no wild turkey 101 but I’m glad I picked it up. It’s a little harsh on the alcohol burn, but it has nice bourbon-y flavor. There’s an orange flavor and nose with some oaky notes on the finish. There’s also something sweet to the smell that I can’t place.
