Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon

For a $21 bottle this is a great daily drinker. It doesnt present as very complex, but what it has is very good and no real negatives. This is what helps preserve the more expensive bottles!

This is a warm spicy bourbon. There's a light brown sugar sweetness with a bit of cinnamon and some alcohol heat. I still think it's fairly smooth and not too bitter. The finish has strong rye notes and hints of oak. The further down in the glass I got the more I liked it.

This is the sweetest most delightful punch in the face that I’ve had in a long time. The fumes almost knock you over, but the oaky, caramely, vanilla goodness reels you back in. The flavor matches the sweetness & the spicy smell, & that spice sticks around like a good spanking. “Thank you, Sir. May I have another?”
