This is definitely a dessert whisky. If you like Rum, you’ll appreciate it; otherwise, be warned — you’re nowhere near a piece of peat. This is Halloween candy on steroids, artificial-fruitiness with a tropical backdraft. The smell & taste match. I like how weird is. If you’ve got a sweet tooth or you want to introduce whisky to a Rum drinker, this one is for you

I know everyone loves it and there’s a reason for that. It shows up with a captivating peaty, vegetal, smoky-sweet nose then draws you in with that briny, savory, earthy, carroty-sweetness. It finishes like it should — slowly dissipating into a lingering smoky, cola aftertaste. Yep, it’s a keeper.

This is the sweetest most delightful punch in the face that I’ve had in a long time. The fumes almost knock you over, but the oaky, caramely, vanilla goodness reels you back in. The flavor matches the sweetness & the spicy smell, & that spice sticks around like a good spanking. “Thank you, Sir. May I have another?”

This is my favorite blended scotch. Dangerously good and sweet with just the right amount of spice. And it smells deliciously delightful. They need to make a monkey shoulder smelling candle. Not even joking.

I bought a 3pk of small (100ml) bottles online for about $55 & this was one. I liked the floral fruitiness & decent finish, but there was a buttery/musty note that put me off a bit. It was in all 3 variations so I’m guessing its just this brand. While I wasn’t fond of that note in particular, I liked the majority of the smell & taste, & my partner really liked the buttery smell/taste so it could just have been me. I think it was friendly and I wouldn’t mind getting it as a gift, but wouldn’t buy for myself
