Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon

Aroma - Citrus and classic bourbon spices. / taste - immediate char, vanilla and leather. / finish - spice fades in and orange peel finishes the profile

Slightly sweet with some corn, touch of pepper finish, oak in nose and taste.

Sweet and very complex. Brief spice that fades into vanilla and caramel and then comes back. Peanuts - can’t place the aroma, but it’s present. Not a high-rye guy but I do enjoy this and definitely can see this being in the bar frequently

*** edit*** I’m editing my original review as a 2.75 and increasing it to a 3.5. This has really become one of my favorite well priced bottles. Really nice light vanilla nose. I enjoy most of it until the finish where it has a kind of odd lingering flavor.
