Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon

Super impressed by this bottle considering the $25 price tag. Will definitely become a staple in my home selection! Nose - Very orange forward with later notes of vanilla and browned sugar Palate - Continued orange notes with a slight oakiness and ending with spice Finish - Very nice finish for the price of this bottle. Pleasant rye spice with a warming feeling as it goes down.

On the nose I get vanilla, cinnamon, and some orangey citrusy notes. The palate is nice with vanilla, honey, and those orange notes. Finish is of rye/cinnamon spice, char, black pepper. Very nice for the price. Worth keeping this on hand for a cheap mixer and sipper. Would love to do a blind with this and Wild Turkey 101 to figure out a go to sub $30 sipper.

For how cheap it is this is a great whiskey. Nothing crazy on the nose or palate. Peanut flavor on after taste. Fills the mouth!

One of my favorites, especially for the price. Always try to keep a bottle on hand. Nice cinnamon spice with some heat. Great for cocktails and neat.
