This 25 year-old single malt will be available globally beginning October 2017. It matured in two types of barrels. The first 22 years were spent in American oak ex-bourbon barrels.
The single malt then was transferred into Spanish oak ex-oloroso sherry butts. Bottled at 46% ABV the whisky is non chill-filtered and has no color added. .

Tasting Notes
"The nose is like semi-sweet chocolate melting in a pan over a wood fire stove with a hit of cinnamon, orange peel, and clove added to the mix. The chocolate aspect softens to more fudge-like flavors mixed with vanilla, salted caramel, toasted spices, and lemon peel. There is a an ever so slight earthy bitterness in the finish as the oak tannins settle in, however it stays in the background as the richness of the other flavors coat the palate. Expect a dense and rich, desert-like dram with a very faint hit of salty, tobacco-like smokiness. "
