Old Pulteney 12 Year

Very pleasant and drinkable. Pear drops and soft mint on the palate and a long, sweet toffee caramel finish with an undercurrent of coastal salt.

Cereal on the nose. Tastes of sweet, toasted barley and nuts with a honey like smoothness. No discernible fruit notes for me

No negative aftertaste, brilliant flavour

Pleasant sipping dram, but the honey sweetness is quite dominant for me. Some orange zest aroma’s, raisins, milk chocolate. Medium to short finish with a dark roast coffee note. I wish it was bottled at a little higher proof. But price-quality very appealing.
