Reminds me some of Glenmorangie 10 with the soft floral meadow, vanilla and malt notes but also of Talisker with the briny coastal notes. There’s a bit of citrus zest in there, I couldn’t find much peat to speak of. Very enjoyable whisky and well worth the $40 it costs here in Oregon.
I’m a little sick, so my nose is not working well, but this was still a banger. Need to come back to it when I’m healthy
Nose: plum and red apple, vanilla cookie
Taste: savory - like, salty, tea, ginger, citrus
