Old Pulteney 12 Year

For the longest time I'd see this sitting on a shelf and skip over it simply due to the name alone. It seems a bit bland and boring standing next to names like HP Viking Honor, Monkey Shoulder, Spice Tree, etc... but remember how your mother told you never to judge a book by its cover? Well, maybe she was wrong about TurboTax For Dummies, but she was right about Old Pulteney. I stumbled across a bottle on clearance and was pleasantly impressed. Although it's not exactly a complex dram, it did not disappoint. Full bodied and sweet with the signature ocean saltiness. Well done.
