Peerless Double Oak Bourbon

I was so looking forward to this since i gave it 4 star last year (2022). This 2023 release was terrible. The alcohol was so strong that it cinges the nostrils. Don’t buy the 2023 release.

NEAT NOSE - Brown Sugar, Maple Syrup, Molasses, Hint of Oak PALATE - Very rich and sweet. What you smell is essentially what you get. Loads of brown sugar, caramel, and vanilla with some baking spices. Drinks much lower than the proof point. FINISH - Medium finish with a good, smooth and pleasurable aftertaste. BUY? - Absolutely. BUY AGAIN?? - Without question.

The nose is rich with caramel, brown sugar, and barrel spices. The palate is just as rich as the nose, it's mouth coating vanilla, sugar and molasses. The ethanol is subtle, but there in a very balanced way. The finish is long and enjoyable with the right amount of spice and lasting flavor. Love this pour!

Good flavor but too spicey and dry and oaky for me. Was a little hot initially, but cooled down. Decent finish

Nose: spice, seasoned wood, vanilla, licorice Palate: vanilla, tannic oak, dark chocilate, coca cola Finish: medum intensity but long lasting. Pop of spice. More licorice, tannic oak. 7 on the t8ke scale.
