Very good bottle with a taste of caramel leading to a nice oaky finish with hints of toasted marshmallow.

Color: copper-brown Nose: cherries, hint of cocoa Neat: light on the palate; bit of spice; easy finish Rocks: aroma of grains; not the typical carmel or vanilla; hint of chocolate; palate is spiced and herbal, but not pepper spicy, spiced like a rum; fast, easy finish A great infrequent sipper as the flavors are atypical; prefer it on the rocks

HyVee LS West 2023 Holiday Pick, 114 Proof Nose is very oaky with a lot of toasted white bread. Palate is pleasant, light fall spice, light oak, followed by pepper. Not overly sweet. Finish brings a touch of cocoa, and pepper permits. A very nice sipper with someone moving into BP whiskeys.
