Pikesville Straight Rye

A bit spicy up front. I feel like I need a glass on a snowy front porch with a warm fire and good friends

Wow. This is a sweet tooth rye. I get desert all over the place. Little bit of Frosted Flakes, little bit of chocolate and fudge. I heard great things. I threw it on the rocks (not usually what I do) and this is fantastic.

This is a nice spicy rye and the proof is very apparent. The taste has a nice sweetness to it and the finish comes in with tobacco and heavy charred oak. This rye kind of reminds me of Peerless rye; both have a lot of character to them.

Rich and spicy, with a mellow sweetness not too dissimilar to a high end aged rum. Flavorful and enjoyable, neat or with a splash of water.
