Plantation Barbados 5 Year Rum

As my first rum, this is pretty good. Lots of tropical notes

Nose: Sweet rum, vanilla, & hint of banana. I sometimes get a hint of caramel. Flavor: Mild in strength: vanilla, pineapple. Has a creaminess about it. A really good sipper that's not dominating one's tongue. Rating is based on neat sipping.

For being as young and cheap as it is, great rum!! Smooth, not too complex, great for sipping or mixing.

Smooth, bright, deep, and sweet. This is my idea of a perfect drink.
