If your going to sip this you will need to add some water to it. The heat gets in the way of the flavors unless you cut it with water. No dosing so it is a dry rum and the flavors really open up at about 110 proof.

carmel nose, burnt sugar and molasses on the front, followed by alcohol heat, and back to lingering brown sugar and vanilla oak finish. Only room for one over-proof aged rum in the cupboard? This is it. Perfect for mixing cocktails.
