Some sweetness followed by a surprisingly pleasant smoke. Nice

Incredibly tasty with minor sweet wine overtones, possibly Sherry? Has a smoothness that counters its slightly peaty character. I don't taste much peat compared to overall sweetness and richness and complexity. I'm comparing it to VERY peaty Laphroaig Select. Disclaimer: I've tasted them on successive days, not stacked next to each other.

Nose is briny smoke with sweet hard candy undertones. Taste is peaty, briny, sea salt up front with white pepper, butterscotch and pears mid way and a long- burning fire pit resorcinol, tannin, leather finish. Not hugely complex but has quite a nice character.

Fantastic stuff. Long finish leaves you wanting more.

Nose: smoke, lemon, pear, orange, cream Palate: Salted caramel, honey, orange, chocolate, pepper, smoke Finish: Wax, lemon rind, grilled kiwi (or honeydew maybe), spicy honey This is a stunner! I had a hard time detecting the peat at first. All the flavors balance so well! The peat seems to be more BBQ to me, like charcoal. This translates to grilled fruit notes. There’s some salinity on the palate blends with the sweet notes. The first thing I taste is salted caramel. Very pleasant honey flavor carries throughout.
