Bready notes on the nose. Dried red fruit. Slightly sugary cereal notes. Taste is excellent. Great creamy velvety texture. Vanilla. Cinnamon. Nutmeg. Sweet finish with the baking spice folded in.

A balanced, Irish Whiskey by Midleton Distillery matured in Bourbon & Oloroso Sherry casks for 12 years. It has a fresh birth with notes of barley, copper, fresh oak, leather, juicy fruit, oak & fruit; while a balanced life adds notes of vanilla, dry spice, chocolate, coffee, dark fruit, raisins & blackcurrants; that led to a dry & oily death with notes of apricot, vanilla & hints of copper. Smells intensely grainy. Other flavors on the nose include sugar wafer, raw peanuts, and pear skin. You could also convince yourself there's a wet cardboard smell. Taste is much better. Very sweet, like a rich caramel sauce drizzled over pecan pancakes. Taste really saved it.

I found it very good for the money. A lot of vanilla with a baking spice finish. Honey on the nose with an oaky finish,
