Privateer True American Amber Rum

Very good for sipping. Strong taste without the strong burn. Very close to a whiskey or bourbon in my amateur opinion. You can definitely tell that there is no added sugars and flavors.

Subtle coconut and sugar Nose after resting for 10 min. Subdued nose with first notes of coconut and vanilla. Some brown sugar and cane with a very slight caramel and a whiff of cinnamon, baking spices, and pineapple At tasting- the flavor definitely is more pronounced than the nose. Flavor begins with the caramel, some saltiness, and coconut and some ethanol heat but with a notable absence of young hot alcohol across the taste, just a clean burn here. The taste continues with flavors of brown sugar and molasses before landing of a moderately short finish of spice and sugar.
