Pretty light, simple and subtle, but really nothing to dislike. Light honey notes, definitely some vanilla and woody barrel character. Just a touch harsh, but mostly a balance issue due to the light body. Good value for an Irish whiskey but here in Canada you can find better ryes at a lower price.
Nose: Subtle, vanilla, honey, touch of a floral note, ethanol
Palate: Mild, orchard fruit, vanilla, honey
Finish: Short, vanilla, slightly bitter
Overall: Simple and inoffensive but it's a bit lacking in character, it's similar to the Jameson flavour profile but thinner and just not quite as enjoyable to sip on, personally I would recommend buying a bottle of Jameson or Bushmills over this if you want a budget Irish.
