Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon (Discontinued)

Nose is typical wheated bourbon, but a little weak. Typical is earthy: grass, wet stone, dirt smell after rain. Has the corn and dust of a young bourbon, wheat just smooths out the sharpness and sweet notes for me. Palate is again typical wheated bourbon but an almost stale(?) Note. Finish is moderate but still with the stale note of a mildewy barn. I have revisited this one several times and just don't care for it. There are other spice notes and a few complex parts but the odd end and finish just don't let it become enjoyable for me.

Mild flavors of cinnamon, vanilla and caramel. The spice lingers,which is nice. Ice brig's out the caramel and vanilla. Cuts the spice, but it's still present. In Virginia, for the same price, I prefer EW BiB.

Aroma - sugar candy, fresh cut wood, touch of fruit Taste - you get what you pay for.I’m picking up is cream soda and sour apple but that’s about it
