Nose :rich fruits, grapes
Taste: fruity, a little spicy, a little sherry. Pot still tang comes through on the finish.
I love rb 12 and I think I love the cs more. Good stuff!!!
Smells and tastes like crumb top(Dutch) apple pie! I definitely pick up the butter crumb crust along with baked apples and spices. A noticeable step up from the normal 12 year offering from Redbreast.
I’m not saying I’d leave my wife for this bottle, but if those baby blues get batted at me twice my heart is forever devoted to Redbreast Cask Strength. Very sweet nose, brown sugar, caramel, crème brûlée, similar on the palate with the bite/pepper of the cask strength. The finish is why kingdoms have fallen, so smooth, so rich, so good, so worth every drip and dram. Smashing good drink.
The most notable thing I get on the nose is a whiff of honey *nut cheerios, sweetness and bread. On the palate it's redbreast 12 on steroids. It's super sweet, rich, and has a healthy burn to it. The finish is very nice, it has a burn but it's subtle and soft and leaves you wanting more.
