Redbreast 12 Year Cask Strength

Warm nose and warm taste but little burn. Very smooth and crisp. So far my favorite Irish whisky.

This slays the regular 12 for me, very hot but no burn, nice subtle dry fruit on the finish. This is a great one for a cold evening.

I know precious little about Irish Whiskey. I bought this on the Recommendation of Snyder's on Capitol Hill. The original 12 year I tried I found watery/weak, devoid of flavor. This fills in all the gaps and is amongst the smoothest I've ever tasted.
