Clément VSOP Rhum Agricole

An elegant, Rhum Agricole aged in oak for four years. It has an aromatic birth with notes of brown sugar & milk chocolate; while a full & elegant life adds pepper, sugar cane, smoke, dried fruits, orange & coffee beans; that led to a silky & semi-sweet death with a touch of cocoa. Insipid and mediocre

This is nice, but lacks some of the depth and richness of the Rhum JM VSOP. I don’t know if it’s power of suggestion from my eyes, but I get a lot of orange and orange peel. The wood here is present and elegant, but doesn’t have the roastiness of the Rhum JM. Different animal, what a nice surprise!
