Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond

Seemingly a typical rye whiskey profile, baking spices and a juicy fruit gum aroma with a palate that reminds me of mint and hints of dill. Hits the palate sweet and hot, with oak, vanilla and a slow burn. It’s a good baseline for a rye, would definitely keep it around for cocktails and such.

Definite fruitiness and sweetness with little bite but an easy drinker.

Cherry apricot

Not a Rye person! I must say this is quite amazing for the notes I’ve tasted. Tinge of spice upfront then mellows to a sugary vanilla balanced elixir.
