Ron Zacapa XO Rum

This is a very enjoyable rum, you can taste the sweet butterscotch, caramel and vanilla with a very slight woody leather but not in an off putting unpleasant flavor. You definitely taste the sherry and solera influence. An excellent sipper.

Decently good rum but having trouble sensing enough complexity.

Took the first ounce for my palate to adjust but once it did the richness of flavor accelerated.
